Amazon is preparing an application store for Android

1

Amazon is not content with being one of the largest bookstores in the world, also aims to enter fully into the mobile software market. As they say in the Wall Street Journal, Amazon would be hashed out details for the launch of an Apple Android application store. The newspaper claims a document that explains the conditions for developers, which among other things, includes applications in your shop can not be sold at a lower price anywhere else.

Amazon will have exclusivity for at least two weeks ( assume that relate exclusively on Android, or may forget also have applications available on IOS). What is not known is whether this store is only for additional income or as part of the ecosystem to a possible tablet, and the family is sure to continue to grow Kindle …

The detail info below:

Amazon.com Inc. is plotting a deeper foray into Google Inc.’s and Apple Inc.’s turf, with plans to open an online applications store for smartphones running Google’s Android software, said people briefed on Amazon’s plans.

Amazon’s entry into the mobile-applications marketplace would open a new battlefield with Apple, which pioneered the market with its iPhone App Store. Amazon already competes with Apple’s iTunes in sales of digital music, videos and books.
