6Cell Dell Lithium-Ion Studio 15/1535/1536/1537 battery spec review

Though Dell announced the Dell Studio 1537 battery can run 4-5 hours. But with our test in fact it can work about 3 hour 40 minutes in save mode. Below content is some customer reviews from the internet.

Customer Reviews :

While I seldom use my laptop with the Dell studio 1536 battery as the only source of power, I have had to yearly replace it. Right out of the box I have not been able to get more than 2 hours of use out of any of the three batteries I have had in my Studio laptop. Within another eleven months I will need a new battery. I will be looking for a new laptop with a longer battery life and sadly it most likely not be a Dell.

What can I say, it's a battery and it works. The price is way out line.(IMHO) Nearly three times the price of the two after market batteries that I tried in my sons laptop, which the computer could operate on but would not charge them, thanks to Dell I'm sure.

Easy to install, and holds charge well. I also have the 9 cell battery also, which is good, but the design raises the rear of your laptop up in the back, because of the size/design the same with my daughter's Dell studio 1735 battery.

I have a Dell Studio 1537. This generic battery does not lock in appropriately -- I had to tape it to prevent it from falling out from the base of the laptop. Initially, the battery worked great (held its charge for several hours before requiring a recharge), but after a few days of using it, it stopped charging and was no longer compatible (computer no longer recognized it?). I had to return it. Got a full refund including shipping. Amazon has a good return policy. I bought the authentic Dell studio 1737 battery from the Dell website instead.

When the battery first arrived I installed it in my Dell Studio 1558 laptop. The battery worked very well for the first 4 recharge cycles and then at bootup I started receiving the following message from my BIOS - "The battery cannot be identified. This system will be unable to charge this Dell studio 17 battery."

In the above review we also can get this information : the Dell system also can not recognize the battery prefect. So good luck.
