Dell Studio 1535 review

dell-studio-1535

Spec :At Studio 1535 Dell disclaims Centrino second With the T8300 (2.4 GHz) or a Core 2 Duo comes from first-generation Penryn used. The computing power does not hurt: it is with 112 points in Sysmark 2007 at the top. Compared with faster laptops, the Dell Studio 1535 is missing only in the office a little power - despite the 7200 rpm rotating disk. The graphics card Mobility Radeon HD3450 is in the lower middle class: older DX9 games like Far Cry to run smoothly at 1280 x 800 pixels, the maximum resolution of the displays in our test unit (1440 x 900) it is in most games too weak.

Design : Our tester was equipped with 2 GB and a 160 GB hard drive. But in the Dell Studio 1536 battery , the shop can also be equipped with more modern 4 GB of RAM and a 320 GB drive. The equipment highlights the drawer without Blu-ray drive in slot-in design. For networking, the Studio 1535 11n WLAN, Gigabit Ethernet and Bluetooth, a modem is missing. The range of interfaces is neat, in addition to an HDMI output, there are four USB ports, a webcam and a fingerprint scanner. One e-SATA port is not the studio 1535th

Performance : The Dell Studio 1535 came equipped with a 2.5GHz Core 2 Duo T9300, 4GB RAM, Mobility Radeon HD 3450 and a 320GB Western Digital hard drive. It also came pre-packed with a 32-bit version of Windows Home Premium, Despite the Mobility Radeon HD 3450, this isn't really a gaming machine, hauling in a score of 1,830 in 3DMark06. It's much more suited to productivity.

Battery life :In the Dell Studio 1535 battery test, the Dell Studio 1535 managed just over three hours, which is given the equipment and capacity of the battery (58 Wh) okay. Also the weight is 2.76 kg in order: The Dell Studio 1535 so you can take to time. If you want to go watch Blu-Ray movies, you should refrain from Titanic and Ben Hur: The HD playback has the Dell Studio 1535 by just over 1.5 hours.

Conclusion :The Dell Studio 1535 is convincing with its internal and external values. Its strength lay less in computing power and features, but with attractive design and useful little things like the illuminated keyboard. Its highlight is the magnificent display, it is the Dell Studio 1737 battery makes it the ideal multimedia laptop. A similarly good display, comes with the much more expensive Asus M70SA. Who wants a Blu-ray notebook with a striking design uses, for Acer Aspire 6920.

Customer Review : Fast processor for Photoshop use, quality & decent sized screen for work (preferably WUXGA), while maintaining portablility. This led me to the Dell Studio Line, the XPS line & the Sony Vaio.

On Cyber Monday, I managed to snag a SWEET deal on a Dell Studio 1537 battery customized with these specs PLUS an upgraded wireless N card, 1920 x 1200 WUXGA screen (need that screen real estate), as well as bluetooth internal (to sync my smart phone) and a 3 year warranty. Bonuses aside, so as to give a true review of the product listed, this thing is much better than I'd even hoped for! It blazes through Photoshop (CNET gave good reviews for this model in this area), the screen is bright & beautiful, it doesn't get very hot at all & the fan is very quick & very quiet. I really like being able to utilize the lit keyboard at night and the multimedia buttons at the top are a nice touch.
